There are a lot of questions and myths on termites out there. For example, can you hear them eating at night? Do termites die if they are exposed to the sun light? Can termites eat your roof in a week? Is it true that termites don’t not attack healthy tree? or is it true that termites won’t attach a brick house?
In our course we will demystify many of the false assumptions that the home owners have on termites. We will also bring live termites to show the students and answer any questions they may have.
You will also learn how to recognise termites’ workings and damages and learn how to reduce the risk of infestation. We will in addition cover some other pests such as wasps. cockroaches and spiders. Go to the Macquarie Community College website and enrol yourself as the class fills quickly!

About the Tutor
Brad, is a fully licensed pest controller with over 6 years experience in the pest control industry having acquired a Pest Management Technician qualification at Tafe in NSW and also running his own business.
Brad has developed an understanding of the concerns of home owners in relation to Pest infestation.
Brad has also lots of experience in public speaking from attending many networking/business groups.
Brad’s Honour degree in total quality management has given him the skills to put together a comprehensive, informative short workshop on his area of expertise, pest control.
Brad’s entertaining nature, will ensure that this raw subject keeps the students attentive for the full 4 hours.
