Termite Treatment Prices

Termite prevention is always cheaper than cure.

Termite protection is money well spent. Regular termite inspections protect your greatest asset. If you haven’t had a termite inspection in the last 12 months book one today.

WARNING: Your home insurance will not cover termite damage. Termite damage can be extremely expensive for home owners to repair. For your peace of mind organise regular termite inspections and install termite monitoring stations.

Call Home Termite Control today for a $249 termite inspection.

Do you already have termites in your home?

Step 1: Act QUICKLY. Termites eat an amazing amount of wood. DON’T disturb termites. It makes it harder to treat and eradicate the whole termite colony.

Step 2: Book a professional, licensed and insured termite and pest controller to do a thorough termite inspection.

This will give you a more accurate picture of the extent of the damage and the particular species of white ants causing it. Once you have a clear picture of the problem your termite exterminator will explain your options and termite treatment costs.

Step 3: Agree on a termite treatment plan and any ongoing termite activity monitoring.

Your effective Termite Treatment depends on:

  • what your home is built of
  • what your home is built on – ie concrete slab or pillars
  • the soil type around the property
  • the termite species

Professional pest controllers will offer different termite treatment solutions. Therefore the cost of the termite control and prevention will vary.

What are your Termite Exterminator options

Watch the videos throughout this website. They are designed to educate and help you make informed decisions about protecting your home from termites.

Chemical Termite Barriers including Termidor Dust

Installing a termite barrier is one of the popular methods of prevention or eradication of termite colonies. A termite barrier can be physical or chemical or a combination of both. Chemical termite barriers can be repellents or non repellents. When termites encounter a repellent chemical barrier they will avoid it rather than going through it. It is important there are no gaps in a repellent chemical barrier.

The other type of termite chemical barrier is non repellent. Termites will go through this barrier without noticing. The advantage is they will not avoid the barrier. In passing through this termite barrier they become infected. They then carry this infection back to their colony or termite nest. The damage to the whole termite colony is far more dramatic rather than just repelling them to a neighbour’s property.

On our blogsite is a 9 minute Youtube video on how BASF Termidor Dust provides a non repellent protection against termite damage.

Nemesis Termite Bait

One of the most successful termite eradication plans is Nemesis Termite Baits. Nemesis termite baits are one of the most environmentally friendly and effective products Australian pest controllers use. There are other termite baiting systems and stations available.

Nemesis Termite Baits have been used for more than a decade by experienced pest controllers. The reason is they are very effective in termite eradication. The cost of installing the monitoring stations, and then when necessary baiting the colonies, is easier to calculate.

How to choose your termite exterminator

Before you select your termite pest controller watch this video

Ask to see your pest controllers;

  • Certificate – photo ID
  • Insurance

Also ask about their training and experience – especially in your area. Local knowledge does help.
Don’t waste your money employing a pest inspector who doesn’t have the right products, insurance and training to do the job correctly. Your home is too valuable an asset to risk it.

“I have come across pest controllers offering up to 50% below the pest industry’s recommended prices. Some of them are still using arsenic dust. This is very toxic to humans. It is an outdated and less effective termite treatment product. The new mammalian non toxic products such as Termidor dust are far more effective in termite eradication. Of course you also don’t want to be paying more than you should in order to eradicate the termites “
